Vengeance Hangs Backstage with Montgomery Gentry

 DAYTONA BEACH FL - MARCH 12, 2005

How do you top off a great week in Daytona? How about taking a Saturday night off and hanging out on the Jim Beam party bus with country music superstars Montgomery Gentry. For those of you who are familiar with the Buffalo Chip campground in Sturgis, you'll be pleased to hear that they have setup a Buffalo Chip at the Daytona Speedway during bike week. This year the Saturday night headliners at the "Chip" were Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry and as usual they rocked the house!

We caught up with Eddie and Troy about 2 hours before the show and had a chance to talk with them about their love for bikes and how it has influenced their music and their careers. Troy was immediately drawn to our old-school Teacher and Eddie went straight for the Black Vertebreaker. Between the cowboy hat and the his full length duster, Eddie looked ready to ride into the sunset!

Watch for this interview on an upcoming episode of American Thunder airing on Speed Channel Tuesday night May 31st at 8:00 pm.

Eddie and Troy would also like to invite you to join them for the Academy of Country Music's second annual Celebrity Motorcycle Ride. This half day trek through the Nevada desert will raise funds for the ACM Charitable Foundation, an organization designed to raise support for programs dedicated to the awareness, growth, and education of music.

The ride begins May 15 at Las Vegas Harley-Davidson. Dierks Bentley, Lonestar, the Warren Brothers, Ira Dean of Trick Pony, Mark Wills, Shelly Fairchild, Trent Willmon and James Otto will also participate. Click here to learn more. The ACM Awards will be broadcast live from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on May 17 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on The CBS Television Network.
