Vengeance Motorcycles staff and Nascar drivers Greg
Biffle, David Green
and Steve Grissom got together for a motorcycle ride before the Stater
Bros. 300 / Auto Club 500 this weekend. The drivers all met
at the Vengeance factory in Mira Loma Friday morning for a tour of the
Vengeance production facility. After the tour,
everyone picked out a new Vengeance chopper and took a ride through the
Los Angeles County country side up to the California Speedway in
Fontana, California. Although the ride was short, the drivers all had
fun and got a little taste of the two-wheel style v-twin power provided
by the Vengeance S&S 113ci power plants.

David Green driver of the Busch Series Kleenex #27 car
remarked how relaxed he was after taking the morning ride before
practice. Steve Grissom driver of the Busch series Advil Liqui-Gels #49
car was grinning from ear to ear after riding with his buddies.
“Choppers and Nascar
drivers are a natural combination, these drivers love high performace
machines and they really seem to enjoy the power and the style of this
type of custom motorcycle. It was a pleasure to spend some down time
with these guys and share of our world with them.” John G.
McDonnell president of Vengeance was quoted as saying.
Also participating in the ride was Eric Barash the Vengeance
dealer in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Eric is one of the partners
of Brewco Motorsports who field
both the Duraflame and Kleenex cars. Eric flew in from Florida to
participate in the ride and proudly displayed the bikes at their team
trucks in the garage area all weekend in Fontana.
“It's amazing to see the
reaction at the track when you bring in this type of bike. It seems
everybody here loves fast cars and fast bikes.” Eric
remarked.
The weekend was capped off on Sunday when Greg Biffle drove the
National Guard / Post It #16 car to his 3rd win in Fontana. David Green
finished 14th on Saturday to move up to 8th in the Busch Series points
standings. Unfortunately, Steve Grissom had a disappointing day finishing 36th in the Advil Liqui-Gels #49 car.
Watch for this ride and interviews with the drivers on an upcoming
episode of American Thunder
which airs Tuesday nights at 8pm on the Speed
Channel.
