Gents, I have an 04 Raider and I need to do a little maintenance before riding season. I am looking for the following:
1. Type / length of cable for throtle and clutch.
2. what type of clutch is on my bike?
from looking at previous threads it seems to be (Primo Brute III), is this correct? Also LSS I replaced the original clutch diaphram (hard) with a medium one. Later I found out that I should have not done so because of the high compression / torque engine needed it. If I go back to a hard one, this will make it extra hard when I shift (clutch lever). Someone mention about a clutch asst. that mounts down in the crank case. Is this something to go with or am I just asking for more trouble going this route.
tks
I have a clutch cable. It’s NOS from Vengeance made by Barnett.
do you still have that clutch cable for my bike (04 Raider)??? what is the length of it, and is it a special order / custom made cable? I recently had one put on and my mechanic had to add about 1.5″ spacer in order for it to work with the clutch assist. otherwise I would have to get one custom made $$$$. let me know please
tks
It’s a special order Barnett +14 Clutch Cable. $70 + freight.
thanks for the info. do you still have a new clutch cable for my bike that you would want to sell?
