SubscriberI need help please, I have a noise that everyone agreess is some kind of a vaccum leak. it sounds like someone is stepping on a fat rat, verrrryyyy high pitch squeak, and over time gets louder. I tried to use starter fluid to see if it could help me locate it (if it is sucking the air in). I havent rode much this year (medical issues) and now that I am feeling better and want to ride, this happens. it sounds like it is on the right side. any advise would be appriciated, tks

EditorCheck the vacuum port(s) on the top of the intake manifold. They should have rubber caps on them. These caps dry rot with time and will leak. Zip tie the new ones in place. Also, check the breather tube on the air cleaner backing plate.
