the rear 280 Metzeler is starting to show cracks, no wonder, and so am I.
Can I replace with a 300/35r18?
I’m thinking of using the New Avon Cobra Chrome and the 280 size is out of stock nationwide. I think Vengeance made the Vengeance S with the 300 tire, just not sure if the frame was widened or fender will rub.
Any help would be appreciated. I want to ride this baby..

AdministratorYes, the Maxis will take the 300. We used the Metzler (280) because it had a rounder shoulder profile. But the 280/300 use the same rim and fender.
