Are THere any dealers near Phoenix AZ with the avility to scan, I do have a problem that arrowhead harley cant figure it out,
after a 10 to 15 miles of contiunues ride, head ligth and tail ligths shut off, only head and tail ligths, breaks and sign ligths work, and i just turn off bike for 3 to 5 minutes and they will work for an other 10 to 15 miles..
please help
Most likely this is a breaker tripping (from heat). I don’t have anyone I could recommend in AZ. Maybe someone else on the forum knows somebody.
Locate your 15 amp circuit breakers in the ignition box on the seat post. There will be three 15 amp breakers taped together and you’re looking for the one with the blue wires running to it. This is the breaker that controls the headlight and taillight. If the problem persists after you replace the breaker you’ll need to check for a dead short in that blue wire or headlight plug or taillight socket.
Thank you very much, I did that and found it the blue wires fried and touching red wire. thank you Im replacing breaker and wires.
