    can front axle size be changed?

    Yes, you can change axle size… it’s expensive. You have to buy new lower front end sliders with the bigger axle. If your trying to install a new rim with a different size axle, it’s easier to go to a bearing shop with your old axle and your new rim and buy a sealed bearing set that meet the inside diameter of your rim hub and outside diameter of your current axle.
