@unknown
My garage is not heated, so last Winter I wrapped the ‘Skull Sled’ with cover and extra blankets, etc. What a friggin’ mess I unwrapped this past Spring. Condensation had violated my ride, causing me to spend a lot of elbow grease time bringing back the shine…no permanent damage.
Anyone with similar issues or worries, and $319 to invest, might want to check the BB12 Bike Bubble. Visit: http://www.pdkwheels.com
Or, call Tim @ 800-735-2822
No matter what climate zone you hang your hyde in, this is a primo system for your ride.loop-single-reply.phpNovember 1, 2009 at 5:31 am #2185There is moisture in concrete. A good cover will create a terrarium. Gun shops sell dehydrators for gun safes. Not a bad idea to have one sitting on the ground if you cover your bike for a long time.

I do the same, a soft blanket and then a cover but, in front of the bike between the front wheel and engine I put a fan and leave it running throughout the winter. Well if it is below the 20’s then I shut it off. The fan seems to help the condensation from building up.
