I just took my bike out for a quick ride (mostly up the highway). I parked it and it sat for about 10 minutes. I went to get back on it and start it up and when I cranked it there was a strange noise and then silence.
Not sure if I can describe it or not, but it just kind of kicked over one time, clanked, and stopped. I turned it back off, and then back on and tried it again and it doesnt even make a sound. There is still power to the bike and the battery is pretty new plus it was on a trickle charge. Also, it started fine the other 2 times I started it today.
That leads me to belive the starter died, but Im not sure (I have basic mechanic skills so Im not 100%). It has about 7k miles on it and Im up to date on regular maintenance and the only other issues Ive had with it are with the primary.
What do you think?
