Where did you get the bracket that holds the Brake line Tee on the frame rail for the rear brake switch (2005 Banshee), I have checked, JP Cycles, Drag Specialties, Dennis Kirk. I am almost certain the Tee came from Dennis Kirk
Definetely not Dennis Kirk. The clamps were made at a local machine shop for Vengeance. They’re not making bike parts anymore but I can see if they have any Vengeance NOS parts.
Thanks for reply
I am working on Plan B yea the DK was a Drag Specialties part that looked similar
I has ordered a clamp from JP cycles if it does not work I will ask if you could check your source
I picked up a brake tee clamp so if the JP Cycle clamp doesn’t work out let me know. I dropped it off with VENMC the Administrator.
Thanks guys, I got a 3 piece 1,1/4 clamp from JP Cycles, Tossed the bottom half opened up thoemaining peices a little for 1 ½ tubing. Looks great and only goes 2/3 around bottom rail. Problem was mine has bottomed out sometime (scratches on bottom rails both sides) and because the Tee clamp was around tube it would catch and slide and really cause a problem. The new modified clamp will not hang on anything coming in contact with bottom rail
Sounds great send a picture so we can check it out. You haven’t been jumping curbs have you? They can be a bitch on the frame rails. 🙂
No curbs and can’t remember ever having a “OH Shit” moment, but I have scraped the bottom of the frame and sometime while in Daytona this September is when the old clamp was pulled back and bent. I am guessing speed breakers in parking lots, from now on I going around. The New clamp is wider but looks good. It was a 3 piece and I tossed the bottom, also got for a 1 ¼” tube because of the space the Tee uses, I had to open the radius a little for the 1.5” but got it to fit perfect Hope I did the pictures correct will see in just a sec.
