looking to replace the front end on my 04 raider due to the chrome peeling off pretty much everywhere on the triple trees, risers and fork sliders, actually everything on my bike that carries the name pro-one is peeling and flaking, yes the rims are shot to hell also but thats another rant, I called pro-one and first he said its cause I live in the northeast, I replied with my bike is always washed and kept inside 24/7-365 in my heated garage when not being ridden, and never ridden near winter months, then he came up with vengeance bought alot of parts from them raw ” IE -fork assemblies and wheels ” then had them chromed after you received them at a local chrome’er, I told the guy he sounds like he’s blaming their piss poor chroming on you, and of course then he hung up on me, now back to the original question, did all the raiders come with 12 over stock forks and 5 degrees in the trees ? P.S sorry about the rant

As far as Vengeance buying raw parts from Pro-One and chroming them, the “easy” answer is yes. Now here’s the “hard” truth. All Pro One wheels were ordered in sets with matching pulleys. They were normally ordered in multiples of different designs depending on what bikes were in production. There were times when we wouldn’t receive our complete order for one reason or another and would get incomplete wheel sets either missing a front or rear wheel or a pulley. Normally this was due to parts not being chromed at the same time. So to keep production going we would keep extra sets in inventory. However, there was an instance when we needed a specific wheel design to ship a couple of bikes and Pro One didn’t have any chromed and we didn’t have any extra on hand. So I went to Pro One and picked up TWO raw front wheels and took them to Pro One’s polisher and chromer and walked them through the process to get the bikes delivered on time. That was the one and only time we did that and we used their vendors. Tsk tsk tsk Pro One.
