my 05 was doing that aswell I found out the other owner didnt put high grade fuel in it I treated it with lucus fuel treatment and started running 91 or better fuel in it and it come out of it an is running fine
I have an 03 Warrior doing similar…it was a combination of several problems. First the carb was jetted wrong. The other and you may want to check this first was it would build pressure in the gas tank and it lunge going thru the gears and at crusing speed. The gas cap on mine was not vented. I drilled a small hole the gas cap. I went all over the bike and could not find a vent tube or overfloow tube as some call it that vent to the underside of the bike. These are know to get pinched or stopped up. You may want to check this first. My bike while running the fule filter(clear) would go completly empty when the bike was lunging. The other problem was the timing was set incorrect. I know this is not a definite answer but these are the most common things that can cause the problem you described ans are the easiest to check and cheaper to correct.
Good Luck
Update: I blew out the tank vent tube, but in California its connected to a black cylinder (cat. converter). I disconected , blew it out, ran the motor, and still have the same problem. I am also getting fluid blown on my air cleaner, and some standing fluid at the opening of the orifice directly above the air intake. As you can tell, I dont know much about mechanics. Any thoughts?
