Anyone else have problem getting there bike to start after setting a few days Im from Illinois an its been cool the past few days its in the 70s today an I ran my battery down trying to get it to fire with no luck

Are you keeping it plugged into a trickle charger? Batterys hate the cold,especially when trying to start big high compression motors.
Firefighter, Im outside St Louis and during last weeks mid 30s morning temps mine would start hard and have to warm up for a couple minutes. I used full choke/enrichener to get it to fire, normally I only lift it to about 1/4. Battery is still fine but I plan on getting a battery tender for the winter.
