Remove the set screw at the front bottom of the headlight; there is a wire spring that is in a grove at the front bottom. Grab ahold of the spring and twist the front ring as you pull the spring out. Replace with 6260HD H4 12V 60/55W Heavy Duty Halogen estimated cost $12 at Wal Mart.

Be careful, I didnt have any luck in getting that spring out because it was jammed up, so… I replaced the entire headlight.

Dude, dont get me started with the Ajure headlight. I have an 04 Raider and my bulb kept on burning out and no one knew how to get in to change it out. Finally I got fed up and just yanked the spring out. Supposble there is a metal rod inside the spring and that is what you are suppose to pull (not the spring). Turned out the previous owner for some unknown reason sprayed lubricant on the lens. Well that kept on heating up and burning out my bulb. I will call Ajure and hope they will send me replacments as well. Does anyone know if an HID kit will fit in my headlamp (Ajure 7″ to the lip).
    tks

HID White Motorcycle Headlight LED H4

    I have a 2003 Raider & and 1988 Yamaha TW200.
Recently I put this light in my Yamaha and it is AWESOME
There is NO comparison on the brightness scale from the factory
to this one. I LOVE IT
So, I’m gonna check to see if I can mount this on my Raider.
The only draw back I can think of is I might have to drill some air holes into the bottom of the casing so it can breath. These lights do get kind off hot. They come with a tiny fan on the back of the light.
    The price is AWESOME $12.99.
I will post what happens.

go for the LED head light by “EFX lighting”. I’ve gotten my LED headlamp (which does not get hot and it is bright as hell). I also got the accent lighting (million n one) as well. they have good products and they stand behind them 100% guarantee.
    tks
