Ultima makes decent products but I’ve never bought/used one of their front ends. The American Suspension inverted front ends are beautiful and are worth every penny. The front end is ‘how’ your bike rides and handles. For my money I’d go with the American Suspension. 5 degree Tree with 12″ over tubes for the Vengeance Chopper. You may need to move the tank back. –S.

if my raider has original 12 over forks with 5 degrees in the trees on it now why might i have to move the tank if i put the same length inverted forks with 5 degree trees on it ?

The trees are usually larger with inverted forks. Ask them to give you the dimensions from the center of the tube to the back edge of the triple tree. If its an inch wider, than you need to make sure you have an inch of clearance from the back of the tree to the tank. Its less critical with the original warrior raider tanks so you might be just fine.

The top tree is twice the thickness of yours which puts it too close to your tank. Chances are it will have clearance in the center position but will hit the tank when turned stop to stop. The inverted front end looks too heavy on a bike with a 250 back tire in my opinion. It’s better suited to a 280-300 back end.

To me the rear tire size isn’t the only issue… its also the width of the tank. I think the 250 tire is plenty of beef to compete with a fat front end. If I had my way, we would have used in inverted front end on the Vindicator. Mostly though it just what a person likes.

Good point. As I recall I tried getting the nacelle or inverted front end on the Vindicator (Vigilante) but was out voted. B)

Yeah well when the Vigelante was being designed I was busy building a web site. (I guess not much has changed in 9 years.) For those of you who have no Idea what we are talking about the “pre-production” working name for the Vindicator was Vigelante until Wild West Cycles screamed trademark infringement. Also didn’t we try to put an inverted front end on the Hot Bike Vindicator but it was an “off brand” and didn’t work so we tore it off?

The Hot Bike Vindicator was designed and built during my yearlong sabbatical from the JGM regime (the Vengeance dark days) as I recall. Things vastly improved at the end of that dark period.
