I noticed that you have a plate between your rear turn signals and fender, did you paint chip at one point from the shaft of the turn signal. That happened to me and I had a small plate made up, it looks good and no one would ever know. I like your rocker box spikes, where did you get them? I notice that you have a differant style kickstand and at a differant location, did the other break, or you just did not like it?

tksloop-single-reply.phpSeptember 3, 2010 at 3:33 am #2413Thanks for the compliments bro, good eye! The spikes I had made for me at a machine shop. I have recently put the original kickstand back on because the other one vibrated off somewhere down the highway! It was a Big Dog kick stand which I really didn’t like anyway. (the original is way cooler!) The polished aluminum plates for the tail lights I made myself and was a must. The fender completely failed, not just a paint chip, the steel broke loose.
Its my only form of transportation and I ride it every day so I expect some breakage and trust me it has broke a few pieces! It runs hard. Its my first Chopper and I will keep it for ever. Thanks for the reply!
VengeanceNick.loop-single-reply.phpSeptember 3, 2010 at 10:40 pm #2426Nice job. I don’t remember doing real fire on any of the ’03s was that done later? How about that sissybar and strut thats one-off too! Looks great!
loop-single-reply.phpSeptember 4, 2010 at 3:53 am #2429Your right venmc, the paint was done later. Who would ever guess that a guy that paints bull dozers and backhoes for a living could do something like this. This bike has won several shows and always turns heads. Did you build it? from the looks of the web site your pretty much in on everything! This is my first Chopper and I will never get rid of it no matter what. I put the original kickstand back on it too.(looks way cooler!) and I also just added another sissy bar pad to replace the one that fell off going across a bridge and the little sucker flew off into the lake! oh well, this sucker runs hard and is an attention whore and I wouldn”t have any other way. Heres a picture of her after a bath.
