    From an email…
    Hi Steve !
I have an 05 Vengeance Vendetta with the 113 S&S. There is 7200 miles on the bike. After using Justin oil tune up. 6oz added at oil change I now have a constant oil seepage from the lower crankcase breather. I just changed oil again back to straight HD 20W-50. The seepage continues. It’s about the amount one would have after lubricating a chain drive bike. It results in spots of oil on my rear wheel. I’m wondering if the oil additive resulted in a seal leak ? It’s like oil is pumped to the lower crankcase but not pumped out at the same rate. Thereby causing slightly more oil to remain in the lower end and going out the breather.
The performance of the bike has not changed and continues to pump out awesome 113″ muscle. Oh one other thing the bike was set up to CA emission standards. Since I now live in Vegas I vented the top crankcase breather to under the gas tank rather than into the carb. Do you think this could be aggravating my lower crankcase breather seepage problem ?

The good news is its coming out where it is suppose to.

    here’s what I would do…

    • First check your oil level. Full is only 2-3/4 quarts. About 1-1/2 inches below the top of the oil bag. They may have overfilled the oil.
    • Second check your drain line make sure its not coming out of there. Cross threaded plugs can leak.
    • Next Unbolt the breather and clean it dry or even better replace it. These can get oil buildup and now you are pushing oil out rather than just oily air.
    • Next make sure the top breather vents are breathing. (The CARB bikes had lines going into the carbon canister. When removing CARB equip theses lines should be vented to the air not plugged.)
    • Finally you can unbolt the oil lines at the oil pump and oil bag make sure one isn’t blocked. Just replace the thread tape you you’ll make more leaks.
