    Yesterday at 01:56:26 Good Morning,
Ive got a 2003 warrior, that has served me very well.
I get a lot of looks, and start many BS sessions.
Ive got cracks showing up on the rear fender, at about where the strut ends. Is this common and whats the cure?
I am looking at a repaint with some graphics….
But dont want this popping back in to the new colors.
    Tx,
    RH

Many of the long fender bikes had turn signals mounted and then removed. If you have TS’s move them to the swing arm.

If the TS’s are already gone, get a plate welded behind the cracks as the “fix” may have made the sheet metal brittle.

If you have cracks following the line of the strut you can have arc shaped straps welded to connect the two struts this will help them to not twist and crack the fenders.

Russ Weirnamont no longer makes this fender and we can’t even buy the spinnings. So if you like the long rear fender it would be good to do some internal reinforcing.
