Update: Well I went to Indian in San Marcos and the conversation stopped when they said they could only give $4000 on my bike in a trade and they would need another $2500 down for a Scout. :silly:

I recently had my starter circuit fail, push the button and nothing happens 🙁 . I am guessing it is probably the starter relay which is in the box where the starter needs to be removed to get to it. Well i unplugged the live side of the horn and plugged it into the solenoid on the starter…when I pressed the horn button the starter worked 😆
I’m sure by looking at the size of the wire this is not a good idea but it sure beat being stranded. I have had back surgery a few years ago and there is just no way I can push start this bike. Unfortunately my wife is so upset about this last breakdown that she is screaming for me to get rid of the bike :whistle: . So I’m going to Indian tomorrow and have a look at the 2016 Scout. :blush:
