Too bad it didnt work out for you. I just bought a nice little enclosed trailer for mine…it will be at Sturgis this year. Ive got a built 97 Softail for those pony express runs 4-500 miles a day done with ease. Vengeance is a beautiful build, and I love the ride.
Good luck in your search. 😎
hum… I’ll bet the 427 Cobra wasn’t very good for commuting to work either. Ride it and enjoy it.
I have been riding Harleys for the last five years and just bought a 2004 Raider about a month ago. It is different and took some getting used to but wo i love it. Besides the fact that is is a real head turner, I like the power and handling.
I just bought that 2005 vengence vindicator-raider. I am in alaska going to be flying down to az in august to pick it up and drive it back to tacoma to ship it to alaska. The salesman says it has a range of 120-140mi. Mechanically is there anything i need to watch out for? I weigh 290 what do i need to do to set it up for me? Is there any advice you guys could give me, for the trip? I hear it from everybody, “oh thats not what you want, you need a road king, you need a yamaha, you need a goldwing”. That bike is what i want. I dont need to do 600mi a day I have a week to get there. Any help/advise from anybody would help. I have never made a long road trip like this before. I have owned sport bikes and dirt bikes. I know this is going to be much diffrent.
