Ill PM you. The new caps are vented. You should also check and make sure the vent tube in your tank is not clogged.
On chopper tanks the vent tube exits the tank at the front of the tank tunnel has a small rubber hose that snakes down through the pushrod tubes and vents to the air under the motor.
If its blocked empty the tank, remove the hose and use a wire to roto-router the vent tube.
