Thanks for ths reply! My mechanic is a veteran of the Drag Bike scene and he echoed your thoughts here. He is recommending a bigger battery (fitting it will be tricky) and says the frame grounds need to be sanded through to ensure a solid connection. Besides that he says she purrs. Have not even ridden her yet. Will send a few pics since the bike got a complete themed paint job in Jack Daniels logo and even a cool, almost invisible, portrait of old Jack himself on the back fender (you cant see it until you are standing almost directly over it). I call her “Old #7”. Keep up the post and when you reopen your doors we will be lining up. 😎
