I am thinking about changing the frame on my 03 Raider and of course I will have to shorten the fork tubes.
As we all know the Raider is the classic chopper style. I want something that lowers the tank and shortens the forks yet not too short.
Any suggestions ?
I was told Jesse James has all the jigs to Daytech frames out there in Austin Tx. He would be the person I would contact.
Its an interesting project. You could build almost anything with the parts the original frame was made by Daytec (closed in 2014). Jesse is making his own frames again (they were also made by Daytec). We’ve had a couple people reframe wrecked bikes. I occasionally get a picture “is this a vengeance?” with a crazy frame. Go longer, go lower, go faster.
