AdministratorHawkeye… the Raider/Warriors had very special gas caps. There were 3 different thread patterns this happened inadvertently based on from whom the tank vendor (Metal Monsters Long Beach, CA… a West Coast Choppers ex pat…) was buying the bungs. Because of this… in 06 we went to a standard HD bung like we used on the Vendetta/Vindicator/Widow. I have two caps left of the most popular style. All the ‘other’ caps are gone. The caps are not cheap… $249.
Mark: If you want one email me scs [at] venmc.com. If for some reason you have an ‘other’ style and it doesn’t fit, send it back and I’ll refund your money. Then you’ll need to have a new bung welded in and a repaint of the tank.

SubscriberThanks for your help. Also just an fyi, I was able to find 2 sellers on ebay that sold my cap for 29.95 from California and another one from Boston for 39.95. They both fit and at a great price. not a bad idea for a back up.

AdministratorSounds good. Can you e-mail me or post a pic of the cap or post a link to the ebay listing? My guess is you have a tank with a standard HD bung… but if the other ones are available that’s great news.

SubscriberYes , here is one of the links from California. The second link is another from Worcester Mass. that is 1/4 shorter that fits flush to my tank. I hope it helps you all like it did me.

SubscriberI feel that they were the originals after talking to them on the phone. They say they havent had any returns for the 2005 and prior custom tanks.You can see good pics as well as dimensions as well. here is the link. good luck, it worked great for me.
