S&S 107 instead of 113

now that I found this site I have all kinds of questions I need to ask about my bike. When I bought my bike in 2005 it was one year old sitting in the dealer who had alot of interest and took some deposits but noone came up with the cash. While i did research on the bike I found out that it had an S&S 107 motor instead of the 113, I asked the dealer and he told me that when they ordered it they saved some money on it because it was cheaper. Is this the case.
