Still having starting problems in cold weather (I say cold below 50 degrees). I have a new 350 Amp battery thats always on a tender, but I think the starter is pulling too many Amps, if the bike doesn’t start on the first couple revaluations the battery is dead. Im considering putting a 2.4 KW Starter on the bike, does anyone known if a ULTIMA 2.4Kw Thunderfire starter will fit in a 2004 Vindicator. And if that starter is any good?
Hey
I know that Steve doesnt agree with this but try pushing down on either the from or rear decompression release in the center of the heads.Let me know if it works .My vendetta has done the same thing since day one and this always works for me.Now if I could just get the wife to do it .She already burned up one battery, Good luck.
