I was looking around and had Jireh Cycles send me a catalog.
When I bought my hi-torque starter it was $400 and I got it for $224 from the dealer I bought my bike from. Jireh has them for $164.95. I called and checked these are customer prices and not wholesale prices.
Their number is 1(877) 681-0448.
I will be buying from them when possible from now on unless I find the parts are substandard junk.

Jireh starters are made in China. They usually go on sale for $99. They have copper plated steel contacts instead of the full copper contacts. The solenoid, field case, armature and brush plate are all poor quality parts that are not designed to hold up to a 113 cu.in. motor. It’ll work for awhile but will start burning up from the inside out cuz the amps go too high for the components. Perfect starter to throw on the bike when you’re ready to sell it.
Wow, Thanks for the good info. I figured if looks to good to be true then it is :S . I will keep buying from Drag Specialties on the important stuff but on things like the horn and extended foot pegs I might try to use the Chinese.
I rode the bike to Reno and back it idles rough but it runs great getting 44+ mpg at 70-75 mph in 6th gear or running 65 mph in 5th gear.
I was surprised at the number of people who believe these bikes are not reliable for a distance run. I find it is twice as cool as the other bikes on the road and now that I have gotten use to it, it is far more comfortable than my 1700 Roadstar Bagger was.
As always thanks for keeping the noobie straight.
