The Emergency Gas Cap fix

Just have it chromed and it should stop the gas from coming out :laugh:
Before I head out across the vast expanses of the desert to say like Amboy,ca you can bet I will have one in my pocket just in case so I can get back home.

Update: I wound up going to Ace Hardware and found a 1 1/4″ to 1 3/8″ plug for $5.00 I put a little longer bolt through it and setup a way to tighten it with a threaded “T” handle and it works perfect…no more vibrating loose.

But I only think it’ll work short term because the gas will probably deteriorate the rubber :unsure: , (depending on type) so I would not leave it in too long…just to get home.
