I came across some images where Vengeance had built a trike for someone and it was awesome. Does anyone have the link where I can find that again and any info on where I can buy the parts ?
I found the images of the 3 trikes that were built in the gallery and would really love to convert my 03 Raider in one. 🙂
That trike rear was manufactured by Mystery Design. http://www.mysterydesigns.com/suspensions.php
We built 3 of trikes, one was for Rick Allen of Def Leppard and was fitted with an automatic clutch. Then Chad Kroger of Nickleback bought one after riding Rick’s trike in Sturgis. Presumably, Chad had a clause in his tour insurance that forbid him from doing certain “dangerous” things while on tour like riding motorcycles. The trike was a workaround to that rule. Then after his trike arrived Chad bet his friend and producer Joey Moi that their current single Far Away would not make it to number 1. Joey was right, and Chad didn’t want to give up his trike so he was obligated to order a 2nd trike for Joey. Last I heard was Chad has them both at his house in Cabo San Lucas.
Thanks for the info 🙂 I’m gonna contact them this week and try to get more info. I love that chromed out tail section with the chrome independent suspension, that is HOT. I’ll try to keep everyone posted if I get it.
Fingers Crossed 🙂
PS: Lucky Chad 🙂
I too have a 03 Raider that I am considering converting due to a health issue that may keep me off of two wheels. Any information as far as witch set up was used, also tips, suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
They are a blast to ride and make quite a statement. We used the Mystery Design ISS https://www.mysterydesigns.com/suspensions.php Its a bolt on to the Raider/Warrior.
Not sure if @wulfband got a recent quote. But if I remember correctly, the whole setup will run you about $15K.
The Runaway American Dream is based on the roller coaster ride of the amazing startup and eventual implosion of Vengeance Motorcycles during the Chopper Boom at the turn of the 21st century. In … more
