I been using these batteries in all my 100 ci motors
loop-single-reply.phpI’m running and prefer Carlisle Panther wheel drive belt, as to what size inquire through Steve. You’ll find the bikes that have been sitting and you start riding them a lot, all the rubber parts are hard & brittle require replacement. I’ve replaced all belts, tires, master cylinder seals, some wire harness’s, throttle cables, shock bushings, but I’m passing 30K on a 2003 this year & still Chop’n it up! Good luck Chopper of Ohio B)
loop-single-reply.phpThe oil tank holds a little less than 4 qts. because of size of the battery box area. The oil pump is gravity feed & shouldn’t cavitate, to insure the prime, disconnect the spark plug wires & tap the starter over a few revolutions. The oil filter (new) should use 6 oz of oil & the crank case should consume 4 oz oil after start up, monitor your oil pressure light or indicator and the oil level should be less. Always while changing oil, fill to minimums and start motor and fill again, prevent from over filling. Insure you have the correct oil filter, the single cams filter from the return oil & the twin cam filter from the pressure side. Happy chop’in. The Chopper of OH10
loop-single-reply.phpInsure the conection is good to your front cylinder wire comming from your coil, the speedo gets RPM input and can make it intermittent. Just noting one of my discoveries. 😉 Chop of OH10

loop-single-reply.phpJetting is determined by intake and exhaust, how much air gets in and how it flows out. Baffles in the exhaust hold back pressure on the exh. valve giving more lower end torque as you reach the power band. Popping or back fire while backing off throttle is a sign of exhaust leak near the exhaust pipe meets the cylinder head, air is leaking in the pipe and lighting the unburnt gasses, change your exhaust gaskets and torque the pipes at the head before clamping or tightening rear pipe mounts. The best way to rejet is on a dyno with a master tech. Good luck! B)
