I bought mine new in august of 05, if you read through my posts you will see some of the issues I have had over the years, but i’m not really complaining cause I have buddies that own bourgets and american Ironhorse’s and they have more issues than I have ever had with my raider. As far as the enclosed belt drive I upgraded to a rivera 3 1/2 inch open drive, and last year my transmission grenaded, it was a roadmax who’s operations have moved to japan. so I installed a rivera 6speed tranny, as far as all my chrome peeling i called pro-one and raised holy hell….. it didnt get me anywhere but i felt a little better
loop-single-reply.phpif my raider has original 12 over forks with 5 degrees in the trees on it now why might i have to move the tank if i put the same length inverted forks with 5 degree trees on it ?
loop-single-reply.phpyeah i figured the guy was trying to pass the buck off on you , thanks for the reply
loop-single-reply.phphappened to me on my 05 raider, rotor got so hot it actually melted the rubber seals in the caliper and caught on fire…… turned out to be a tiny hairline crack in the accutronix master cylinder which would cause air bubbles in the line
loop-single-reply.phpok i’ll try the heat, if that doesn’t work i’ll buy the caps from you….. thanks
loop-single-reply.phpthe ones on e-bay have the set screw they arent the threaded ones that you used on your bikes, i called pro-one and they wont work and ds-174781 is a seal kit, thats not what i need i need the pro one dust boot covers because whoever assembled the front end used red thread locker on them and now they cant be removed without destroying them
