loop-single-reply.phpYes, any part store can get one off the shelf but in most cases it’s the cheap chinese copies that don’t hold up well. The Hella’s usually come from distributors that want you to order 50-100 which is why I use ebay.
loop-single-reply.phpHella 4RD
960 388-25
Style 87104You can also use a Bosch style# 87104. The Hella’s seemed to hold up better. Ebay is your cheapest option for this part.
loop-single-reply.phpYes it’s in that box and you’ll need to take off the rear tire to access it.
loop-single-reply.phpWhoops, not the coil, the solenoid on the starter. I was talking to a customer about a coil as I was typing the response to your message. Pull the small wire/plug off the solenoid and jump the wire there.
loop-single-reply.phpEbay is your cheapest option. Which ever light you decide to buy you’ll need to open up the wire access hole to 1/2″. Decent billet lights go for about $100-$120 on ebay.
loop-single-reply.phpUse a 10 gauge wire and jump from the B+ post on the battery to the trigger on the coil. If it starts then you have a bad relay or start button.
loop-single-reply.phpStock starter is a Spyke 400215. Retails for $397.95 (see link below). Any brand will work as long as the application is for a 1990-93 Big Twin. I can get yours rebuilt for $100.
loop-single-reply.phpI have replacement steel and friction clutch plate kits for $90+freight.
