Sounds like you need to replace a circuit breaker. Heat causes faulty breakers to trip and then the reset once they’ve cooled down.

Check your circuit breakers. Heat causes faulty circuit breakers to trip and then they reset when they cool down.

The only adjustment on the factory shocks is to stiffen the ride.

Run the clutch cable all the way out until the clutch
lever touches the handlebar grip. Then run the center adjusting screw on the clutch pack in
until it touches the pushrod, back it out 1/4 turn and tighten the jam nut.
Adjust the clutch cable for 1/8” free play. Note: Braided clutch cables
require little or no free play.

You can tap them out using a long 1/2″ drive extension from the back side thru the hub.

180 ft lbs with lots of red loctite and let the loctite set up before you ride. Make sure you have the thick washer underneath the nut and make sure ALL the old loctite is cleaned off the crank and nut threads.

The pulley can be ordered from Rivera Engineering P/N 1.4375 V. I’d buy the used one from Big as long as the splines still have sharp edges. Save some money for gas.

After we found out that the Bel-Rey brake fluid was causing the o-rings to swell causing the master cylinders to stick we switched to Maxima dot 5 fluid at the suggestion of local billet forward control manufacturers that had experienced the same problem with their product. I called and spoke to the owner (at that time) of Accutronix and told him what we had found to be the cause of the master cylinder issues. I was told that a service bulletin or notice of some sort was going to be sent out by Accutronix. We had already switched to a local Southern California manufacturer and were not stocking Accutronix product at that time. We never rec’d a bulliten or notice of the brake fluid issue. We just took Accutrinix at their word that they would have the decency to do the right thing rather than play Russian Roulette with their customers lives. That said, I still like the Accutronix line of products and continue to recommend them.

There is a pre molded fuel line that used to come with the S&S motors but its not worth the money they charge for it. Just use regular fuel line and make sure there are no kinks in it or you’ll cut iff the fuel supply.
