I called Accutronix, they deny there is any problem with their equipment. Next I talked to a distributor for Brembo Brake systems and they informed me the problem is the accutronix stops letting fluid return to the master cylinder so pressure builds and thing get tight quick. I was told to use Performance Machine or Wilwood because they have not had any problems at all with their master cylinders. I called Wilwood and they have a bolt in perfect fit for us that they have done all the design and engineering on themselves.

I will be ordering this very soon. I’m taking the bike down to performance Choppers in El Cajon tomorrow to get it dyno tuned finally. It has given me 10,000 miles this last year. it has earned it.loop-single-reply.phpUPDATE: Well I rode up there Thurs night, left at 9pm. I rolled onto route152 from the 5 at about 6:30am ( I took a couple hour nap on the way) it was cold, the temp went from 67 on I-5 to 50deg when I got into the canyon. There was alot of bikes there and the people were great all around Hollister , it felt very welcoming and hospitable. I did not see another Vengeance motorcycle there which kind of bummed me. the place was full of Baggers and a couple of nice customs. There was a show at the Vets Memorial of 50’s, and 60’s old school original choppers that was a lot of fun. The vendors were mostly Leather, clothing and food. Big Bear Choppers had a tent set up but there was not a single chopper anywhere just some stock bikes with custom parts on them. Well the ride up and back was fun, next time I think I am going to take a couple of extra days so I can get some sight seeing in. Oh yea and as usual the scoot got a lot of looks and pictures taken…
loop-single-reply.phpFinal Result…
I bought one new 15Amp breaker and tested it in all positions(one at a time) and there was no difference. I ordered 2 more breakers anyway, they are cheap and i need the spares. I took off the tank and where the 3 connectors are I found one small red wire broken (it crosses between different connectors, I have no idea what it is for) I cut a 3″ piece of 16ga wire soldered the ends and put shrink tube over the connections. I unplugged all the connectors and verified good connections. What did I fix…don’t ask me. It is working now. I think I will get one of those chrome bicycle headlights that mount on the handlebars so if it happens again I don’t have to wait for the sun to come up . lol.loop-single-reply.phpThanks for the quick response. If or when the turn signal flasher gives up the ghost does it usually only affect the turn signals or does it affect other things also?
loop-single-reply.phpNew Question…
Started my bike tonight to come home and the tail lights work but the headlight and the front amber running lights don’t come on. All the blinkers and brake lights work fine so I will ride it home tomorrow in the day time.
Is the headlight and front running lights on a fuse? Maybe one of them in the box next to the ignition switch?loop-single-reply.phpI would say to pull the Electronic Module and make sure all the plugins are making good contact. May be time to get a new module.

i have had only good experiences ordering parts for my 04 Raider.loop-single-reply.phpWow  Where to start…I went to Phoenix and checked out Westworld where the center of Bike week was. They had a great HD Demo team from Scottsdale HD that put on a good show. I am not real crazy about super loud metal rock so that was not interesting. I scoured the parking lot and I found a Big Dog chop and my Raider were the only 2 I saw other than a couple of locally made ones. Vendors were like 80% clothing, 10% food, and 10% parts. It Rained Thur night and the weather was calling for more rain starting at 10am on Friday :pinch: so I headed back early Friday before the rain hit. Other than a nice ride out to Phoenix and a hotel stay I count the trip a bust. I saw more shows, and more vendors with parts and more demo rides, more and better of everything at the Long Beach International Motorcycle show. I could not recommend what they call Bike week in AZ for anyone. We have bike nights here in socal that are more interesting. My bike stayed good and got me home, except for the display going crazy when it was wet. It was auto switching between odo, trip and mph constantly. It stopped after about 30 min and has been working ok since. Next weekend there is the Airshow at March field I am sure there will be alot more people at that event than there was at Westworld for Bikeweek :S

Very Sweet looking bike.loop-single-reply.phpUPDATE: This fix worked so far… I have not had to mess with the Jackshaft bolt for over 30 starts.
This Jackshaft bolt has been a major pain. I have installed it with locktite on the threads, used a new washer carefully bent the tab so it contacted the whole side of the bolt. I have done this 3 times in 4 months. The entire bolt, washers, everything backs out. It happened today even with the new transmission which vibrates a lot less than the old one. So I put a split lock washer under the bolt head and then the 2 special washers, I cut into the tang washer deeper so it would reach the bolt head now that it is a little bit higher because of the lock washer. i measured the depth of the cover bearing and how far the bolt will come out to engage and there is room with the split lock washer added. If this does not work I am taking the shaft and the bolt down to a machinest and having them drilled so I can safety wire them LoL!
loop-single-reply.phpI have a Danny Grey 2 up seat on my 04 Raider and I can vouch for it being the most comfortable seat I have ever ridden with.
