go for the LED head light by “EFX lighting”. I’ve gotten my LED headlamp (which does not get hot and it is bright as hell). I also got the accent lighting (million n one) as well. they have good products and they stand behind them 100% guarantee.

Thank you “Unlucky”…… I am looking to stretch my bike as well, make it a springer front end (“Redneck Chopper front end). I would love to see what your bike looks like since it has been stretched.

I have a plate (maintenance /inspection plate)on the left side crank case cover that I bought at a MC swap meet.
“VENGENACE extreme choppers”. I filled it in with red paint to match the bike. I had to add my comment after the previous entry…lol
Hell , I tell people that my bike (04 Raider)is a custom chopper, with less than 200 of my model made, they dont know any better. especially when you add your personal touches to it. my big and final upgrade to my bike is to add a “sugar bear” springer front end, that is if will work. love that rake…..

I have an 04 Raider and there were 2 issues of why my light was going in and out. One time was due to my HID kit, too much vibration, the bulb would constantly blow. talked to the company who designed it and they realized the flaw in that model. they corrected it and replaced my kit with a new revised one. the other issue was that my light would cut out sometimes when I turn my handle bars. I found that the wire was exposed right as it goes into the handlebars and shorting out. a little electrical tape , problem solved.

do you still have that clutch cable for my bike (04 Raider)??? what is the length of it, and is it a special order / custom made cable? I recently had one put on and my mechanic had to add about 1.5″ spacer in order for it to work with the clutch assist. otherwise I would have to get one custom made $$$$. let me know please

Steve, what is the status on the shirts? We have not heard anything reguarding them for a while now. The new riding season is just around the corner, want to sport our new colors. ๐Ÿ™

Very nice! I see that you added a few personal touches, looks good. I noticed that you have a plate between your rear turn signals and fender, did you paint chip at one point from the shaft of the turn signal. That happened to me and I had a small plate made up, it looks good and no one would ever know. I like your rocker box spikes, where did you get them? I notice that you have a differant style kickstand and at a differant location, did the other break, or you just did not like it?

I heard from a couple of buddies and they swear by “Big Boar” batteries. Since I bought my bike 1.5 yrs ago (used). I have always felt iffy about my battery if it did not catch on the 1st or 2nd try. Not sure if it is stock or not but I always kept it on a trickle charge. I checked out the “big Boar” website and did some research. I spoke with a guy from S&S and he said that a 113ci engine needs a good 300 cold cranking amps to start. If your regular / standard battery is lower than 12.5v, you may at some point have issues. He even reccomended big boar. The battery that I got has 350 cold cranking amps., so that leaves plenty of lee-way. Keep in mind that they are a little pricey but, it is worth it to have that reassurance. I was always afraid to take small trips, not anymore! I was blown away when I started it up for the first time. I pressed the start button just once and a strong turn over started up the bike. Very happy with it!! good luck
