    Thanks Stephen,
I was looking at the rear pulley and it has some damage from where the front pulley nut hit it and the belt has a couple of nicks on it.
Now that I have everything off I was thinking of going to a 11mm belt, can you see any real advantage of going to an 11mm belt vs. an 8mm belt and a 102 tooth starter ring vs. 66 tooth that I have now. Either way I still need to get a front pulley and a 1&7/16″ spacer and nut.
    Thanks for help

    Stephen,
I have an 04 Vindicator 6 speed and Ive had the crank shaft nut come off twice now.  When you say check the offset spacer thats the splined gear that goes over the crack shaft,  the one that is bolted to the 45 tooth front  sprocket right?
This spacer dimension  of 1.4375″  where do  measure this from?
Now I need a new spacer and nut Im sure they dont make a spacer that is 1.4375″, when I have this machined down does it have to be 1.4375 is there a plus or minus there?  How did we get such an odd dimension?  Is there anything else I should look at before this goes together again?
