There is a spring loaded check ball in the motor case at the oil return line. These can get stuck open and case the motor to puke oil into the breather.

That was built with a 113ci. So either the motor has been replaced or your reading the numbers incorrectly… or… S&S reused an Indian case and re-tooled it. Hummm… Open it up and lets have a look!

Go to a REAL locksmith not some dude with a key cutting machine in his shoe repair shop. And if you go to real locksmith and he dosn’t have the key blanks tell him hes not a real locksmith. 🙂

Heres a link on ebay from a guy selling the blanks… http://compare.ebay.com/like/190507422157?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&rvr_id=223171956804&crlp=1_263602_309572&UA=%3F*F%3F&GUID=e626e66412c0a47a2a461eb6fffde4da&itemid=190507422157&ff4=263602_309572 If not you can buy a new Key switch from Drag specialties that comes with 2 new keys.

It sounds like your wiring was modified because all of our bikes had red/black leads on the battery cables. The Neg goes to the frame the Positive goes to the starter.

Your air cleaner was changed from the stock S&S to a D&M and looks like they didn’t put a choke knob on the carb. There should be a brass shaft coming vertical out of the top of the carb towards the back.

    1. Any locksmith (not home depot) can make a copy. Its called a tubular key.

    2. Check the sending unit on the top of the transmission make sure it doesn’t have metal attached to the magnet. Download the owners manual and do a complete reset of the speedo. They are made by Dakota Digital

    3. It’s a lever on the top of the air cleaner. Pull it up to start. Don’t leave it up while you are riding as you will foul the plugs.

Ask your questions in the forum so everybody can learn more and can help too. Thanks! –S.

I can have them made for you. Same prices as when we were in production, but the lead time is… forever. Minimum of 90 days.

The seat is $495 and sissy bar with mounting blocks are $495. each. I have a long sissy bar in stock, but would need to have a short one made for you.

I don’t have any posters. I have a couple of the 10’x3′ garage banners left they’re $100. I’ve been digging through my artwork and I only have a few of the High-Res shots but I’ll see what I can find. –S.

We used a lot of Accutronix FWD controls yours might have also been billet concepts. Most HD compatible units will work. In ’05 The brakes are all Brembo and can be sourced from QTM. http://www.qtmi.com

I’m in. Long sleeve, or which ever style you roll out. Will need a couple, or more, in XL.
