There are no paint codes. The frames and oil bags were all powdercoated by Daytec then we would send the oil bag to Zeak and he would mix up a batch of paint for the tins. THen he’d laydown the flames/graphics by hand and shoot them with whatever was left over. Then he’d get out his brushes and stripe the graphics. The paint will need to be matched by hand.

I only have a couple left. I’m planning on doing a new run of shirts. I’ll give everyone a heads-up when they are ready.

The web store is closed. But you can email me when you are looking for parts and I can either give you a source or get the parts for you.

Don’t do it… with that said. You’d need to replace the master cylinder / brake lever with the smaller bore setup. Look it up in Drag Specialties they sell brake levers for single and dual brake setups. Then have at it. Keep the pile of parts in a box and put them back on when you are tired of looking at your wheels. ๐Ÿ™‚

welcome to the board. Your bike was one of the first Raider/Warriors to get the black widow fender and became the design prototype that eventually became the Banshee.

In stock form the fender will not hold a passenger. The solution to this is to install a sissybar with struts that go down to the swingarm. This supports the rear of the fender and keeps the passenger from sliding off the fender. With this setup you use a p-pad and you are all set. I had a Vendetta with this setup I rode with my wife for years. I just finished rebuilding an old Warrior and set it up with a Banshee fender. It’s out having a sissy bar made as we speak.

The sissy bar setup is $495 and includes the sissybar and the blocks that mount on the swing arm.

Good looking bike, great looking co-pilot… Have fun!

Nicks correct. Its heat off the back of the motor could be causing the relays to fail.

However as an 03 your bike also has some of the relays mounted on the rear splash guard.

The good news is its coming out where it is suppose to.

    here’s what I would do…

    • First check your oil level. Full is only 2-3/4 quarts. About 1-1/2 inches below the top of the oil bag. They may have overfilled the oil.
    • Second check your drain line make sure its not coming out of there. Cross threaded plugs can leak.
    • Next Unbolt the breather and clean it dry or even better replace it. These can get oil buildup and now you are pushing oil out rather than just oily air.
    • Next make sure the top breather vents are breathing. (The CARB bikes had lines going into the carbon canister. When removing CARB equip theses lines should be vented to the air not plugged.)
    • Finally you can unbolt the oil lines at the oil pump and oil bag make sure one isn’t blocked. Just replace the thread tape you you’ll make more leaks.

There are three versions of the original HotMatch gas cap. Later 05/06 Banshee’s had a standard HD bung that would take the Kuryakyn and other pseudo flush caps.

I’m working on re-creating the VIN look up database. When you are logged-in as a user look for the link on the left “Search VIN db”. Its a start…

Unfortunately there are no paint codes. We would send Zeak the oil bag and he would mix the base paint to match. The graphics were often whatever was in the gun.

To use a different cap you’ll have to cut out the bung and weld in a stock HD bung then repaint. Its a fairly big job.
