    Things I’m thankful for…
Karen my wife of 25 years who could have done way better than me and should have kicked my butt to the curb a long time ago. My two kids who should plan on supporting me in my old age. Jim, the guy who bought all the parts to build your bikes and the type of person who has become a true life-long friend. You guys… I love Vengeance and you guys bring a smile to my face. Thank you for being here.

We bought the gas cap gaskets from McMaster Carr but almost any industrial supply will have them. They have a complete selection of diameters and thicknesses. http://www.mcmaster.com

One tip I can pass along is to use vasoline on the gasket. this will keep it from getting hard and will allow you to compress the gasket when you tighten down your cap. That compression will keep the cap from rotating and possibly flying out while you ride.

The wiring diagrams and owners manuals are posted as sticky messages at the top of the technical forum. I’ll keep digging up the info as people ask.

There is a braided line that comes out of the bottom of your oil bag it goes straight down and at the other end is a nut/drain plug.

The dip stick is between your pointer and ring finger. When properly filled you’ll see the tube coming out of the oil directly below the filler opening. When you have it correct stick your finger in there and go get a tattoo at the level on your finger for future reference. ๐Ÿ™‚ This weekend I’ll post those manuals as a sticky thread.

I’m here. I have one left, I’ll get you a photo. Your clutch is Primo Rivera IV. I haven’t ever used a the Pro-Loc so I can’t say. There are no tech manuals. Mostly you have to go with the S&S manuals and our wiring diagram. The rest is mostly standard Harley or you get it here. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. 2 cycl oil shows on the speedo when I turn the iginition on, but goes away after it starts. Is that normal?
    Thats a “boot-up’ sequence. Normal.

    2. What are the positions of the fuel valve, on – off – reserve etc? When the fuel valve lever is 90 degrees to the bike what is that?

All the way forward off, all the way back on, the center is reserve (about a 3/4 gallon).

Yep, your bike was built to go to Canada… There was a group out of Phoenix that was going to “invest” in Vengeance. 3 months after we signed the deal they decided we “had to move to Phoenix”. They shut down the shop and moved everything, then stopped paying. So I reposessed almost everything and moved it back to CA. They used 6 of my bikes (that were waiting for export to Canada) to finance the deal. The net result was they had no money in the deal and I was out 6 bikes. It was a cluster-fuck. If you ever run into Tim Halmekangas… tell him I said hi.

No but they may have put loctite on it. The hole is a drain. Give it a twist. What are the last 6 of your VIn and did your bike have a KPH speedo?

Ask me about the 6 bikes the bastards from Phoenix “stole” from me. By the way, if yours is one of the 6, relax its yours… legally. But I can still tell you a good story.

Buy the jets from a local V-Twin dealer I can tell you what size to use it depends on your local conditions.

DS272113 DRAG ROUND KEY SWITCH $22.95

Its likely they just replaced the on/off keyswitch with an on/off thumb switch. Assuming they didn’t totally tear up the harness. It should be a simpple swap. Wheres the “kill” switch located?

There is an air/fuel mixture screw on the top of your carb. But… you probably want to change the jetting to lean it out.

    Here’s an overview…
