    I have an 05 Banshee with the sissy bar, I can ride anyone on the back with no problems. Weight is not an issue.

    Look in the area of the horn if it’s still there.Right rear underside of oil tank.If you see a long braided line with a bolt plugging the end,that’s your oil drain.Just tell your H-D dealer you need a long chrome oil filter for an Evo motor.DO NOT use an oil filter for a twin cam. 😉

    The spacer is billet and it is between the motor and your inner primary.

    Its hard to measure on the bike because you need to put a dial caliper on the spacer to check the dimension.

    The 1.4375 is 1-7/16 that is one 1/16 less than 1-1/2. Weve had them taken down to 1.4 and work. The scientists on the group will tell you about rotational force and if the pressure is on the outside it could cause the nut to come loose.

    Over the years Ive become convinced we got batch of wide spacers. It seems the issues are in late 04 early 05 bikes.

    Operator error. 🙂 Sorry I couldnt resist.

    First take everything else off your key ring. (I ride with my key a small ring and my rotor lock key.) Keep everything else on your pocket. The weight from keys and key ring tchotchkes can cause the key to tip in the cylinder.

    Second hit it with some WD-40 and take a look with a flash light and a dental pick to make sure there is no pocket lint or debris in the lock.

    The most common failure on those locks is… they magically dont work. Long story short youll get some pocket crap in there and itll jamb a pin and it wont spring out.

    If this happens some night when you are coming out of Hooters take a paperclip and poke each pin youll find the dead one and a little more poking with the paperclip and the pin will all of a sudden pop back out and your key will work.

    You’ll need to have them made. They are a custom part.

    The diagram is basically the same. There is a slight difference when you have the tach as there is an extra wire not shown on the diagram.

    Youll probably need to have brackets made. I would start with QTM/Brembo. We had them made brackets for the American Suspension and Spyke inverted front-ends so they can likely do them for your Ultima.

    @venmc

    I just bought an 05 and found the wiring a mess. I ran everything and even bought some new switches. Then I found that when you pull the front brake it sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. The switch on the hand controls is opened when you brake. I found that the lever doesnt always hit the switch when let go. The rear brake lights stay on. foot brake works when every now and then when the hand lever catches the switch.I am guessing that it must have driven the previous owner nutts cus they just cut about all the electriucal wires out. Maybe this is part of your problem, It is a think outside the box thing. Mine work fine now. Good luck.
