I know, I was disappointed about that too…..I would also like more info on the bike, but you might have to just go to each components website and look at them individually.

I also have the manual that came with my 04 widow but it doesnt give much info about the workings of the bike.

i had the trip reset knob on my 04 widow fall off while i was riding i guess it vibrated so much it just fell off. Luckily the dealer i got my bike from covered it under the warranty. I think you could order one from JP Cycles. The second one i got i made sure to use the red locktite and havent lost it again.

After the starter shaft and spline got hung-up and actually was twisted off the starter motor, not good, but no additional damage. When a good wrench made a house call and installed another clutch plate, he suggested hitting the starter shaft with some WD 40. No problems since.
    Hope this helps. ย  :-/

They say that on a well built motor the horse power should match the cubic inches, this is not always the case. I have an S&S 107 in my widow and when i put it on the dyno it was putting out 103 horses.

There are books on the S&S motors and the bikes pretty-much follow the legacy of the soft-tail HD. So many of the techniques and operations are familiar to the v-twin mechanic.

We never published a shop manual… welcome to the world of custom bikes. You should have seen what we went through to get a wiring diagram. Offa!

I had a problem on my widow the right side turn signal kept going i got heavy duty bulbs from a harley dealer they have a little wire support in them to help with the vibration. I havent had it go since i put that bulb in. Something to think about. ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice ride…..and welcome. Hope you enjoy the ride, my early Spring has been a buzz. Last Summer was all about working the bugs out. Rode to a gathering and the Skull Sled was photod a bunch. Happy to see that melons are in season. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I have been riding Harleys for the last five years and just bought a 2004 Raider about a month ago. It is different and took some getting used to but wo i love it. Besides the fact that is is a real head turner, I like the power and handling.

It was owned by WATV the producers of the show. I haven’t seen it this year. I heard Michele got replaced. True?
