Are you keeping it plugged into a trickle charger? Batterys hate the cold, especially when trying to start big high compression motors.
There is your answer…
loop-single-reply.phpSounds like your throwout bearing and bearing retainer clip. Also check the right clutch pushrod end. It resembles an umbrella. Make sure it hasnt fused itself to the pushrod and that the adjuster at the other end of the pushrond hasnt done the same. Also, if you have any clamps holding the clutch cable to the downtubes make sure they arent overtightend and pinching the cable. If everything looks ok you should be able to just install a throwout bearing kit.
loop-single-reply.phpI’ll look for it. We did a bike for the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis in 2004 it had the crossed pistols on the face of the tank and the Dead Man’s hand on the side. I do have pix… stay tuned.
loop-single-reply.phpI think it sold for 13-14K ,but he relisted due to bidder backing out.I bought my Raider on e-bay last Feb. from a fellow in Colorado.$700 to ship to N.C.
That bike will be a good deal for someone for sure!loop-single-reply.phpThat is a sweet look i like the old school scallops. I bet it is going to cheap considering the economy. I would bid on it for my wife if i wasnt on the other side of the country. :'(
loop-single-reply.phpWe had a hard time matching this one. I got lucky and one of our bike owners shipped me his gas tank. Another shipped me this cap you see here (he had to drill holes in it to be able to release it from the tank.)
I have 4 styles of caps so far, I had no idea we had so many caps. We bought 90% of our chopper tanks from Trent at Metal Monsters in Long Beach. Trent was a West Coast Choppers ex-patriot and obviously was using a “variety” of cap sources. :-[
The caps are all the same price… $195.
loop-single-reply.phpThose were 10″ over and came from Paughco http://www.ridewrightwheels.com/. Hot rod flames by Zeak McPeak. Check out the rear lower left edge of your tank to see if you have a Zeaks flame job.
