I just need to find the guy who sold me those springers. Enjoy the ride!

Love it! Paint would work but I say take them apart and have them powder coated flat black.

    Sweet solo Sissybar.

Check the last 8 of your VIN I think you have a very custom Black Widow. The fork length and the tank are the tells… If it’s 819 that’s a very late ’06 bike. I like your seat better… but it originally looked like this:

Thanks, I’m glad you were able to finally get her in your garage. We built 31 in ’05 and ’06. The prototype Teacher “Rolling Bones” was built as a show bike using an ’04 Vendetta frame, Widow fenders, sporty tank and springer in flat black. Everybody loved the final look so we started building them as a production model.

Eventually moved away from the Dakota Digital in favor of analog speedos. The Drag speedo is a great choice. Personally, I preferred the simplicity of the analog. Sorry about the chrome on the springer. It’s hard to say but it’s likely you got a set that was not properly prepared before chrome. Occasionally we even saw this with wheels that peeled in sheets. Good chrome (like paint) is all about prep and it sounds like your bike got a pair that was not right. Did you replace the forks altogether or did you have them re-chromed?

Yes, that is correct the same frame. The Banshee was a child of the Raider (frame, drag bars, long front fender) and the Black Widow (swing-arm mounted rear fender) the Banshee was the first model to come standard with a 5-degree tree giving it 45 degrees of overall rake.

    1. I have the big round Vengeance logo Derby Cover they are $50 + shipping.
    2. You may also need the Chrome Outer Primary Cover for FXST 84-99 (Evo Softail & Customs) (DS 1107-0036)
      353-755_B
    3. Those are Accutronix Rubber Inlay Footpegs In Chrome Finish (DS-243652)

No doubt 2 into 1 (with no baffles) make the most HP. In ’05 we started making our own and they were magic. I wish I still had a set. AS good alternative is the Bassani pipes… https://www.bassanipipes.com/bassanichromelong2-1roadrageexhaustsystemforsoftailbreakout-1s31r.aspx

They are a blast to ride and make quite a statement. We used the Mystery Design ISS https://www.mysterydesigns.com/suspensions.php Its a bolt on to the Raider/Warrior.

Not sure if @wulfband got a recent quote. But if I remember correctly, the whole setup will run you about $15K.

I get a listing 6r116054 … make sure that’s Zero, Five, Four. If it still gives you no results let me know I might need to sort out the permissions on the database. Thanks! –S.
