I promise not to say I will kick in $1000.00 but you can be a closely-held private entity and have share holders. I also bet there are several bike owners that know this stuff really well. I read all about your dilemma (Catch-22) and also did a little research and what happened to you happens quite often when partners are involved. I actual took over a company that had similar circumstances. Also you are correct that when to economy rebounds the opportunity will be excellent as other custom shops have gone under or in dire straits

Take a picture of the setup tool and post it Im curious to see what it looks like.

The tranny is a Spyke trans. They will rebuild/fix it if you send it to them.

Total production for Vengeance stands at 990 bikes. First, we need the economy to straighten out (so people can buy motorcycles). Then
as bizarre as it sounds if every bike owner bought one share for $1000. We could raise the $1M we needed to go back into production.

In the mean time I will work on bootstrapping Vengeance back into production and keep reminding myself…

“Everything dies, baby thats a fact and everything that dies some day comes back.” —Atlantic City Bruce Springsteen.

PS – Please dont post that youll kick in a thousand, I dont need the SEC on my back saying Im soliciting investors. :-X

If you have not purchased yet you might consider changing to different style for look. See photo of my Banshee. The clutch is difficult one to change the brake is less than 5 min. If you had broken the right side I would say get set and only change that one. I bought mine from J&P Cycles and others sell also. If you want part # or infor let me know

They were supplied by drag specialties as a “house brand”.

The PN for the handlebar controls is DS29582. The lever sets are 96-06 273147. The clutch lever is 0613-0029, the brake lever is 0613-0028.

I have to be honest. When I first saw pictures of this bike on Craigslist a year or so ago,I didnt like it.I like green, but usually dont care for the lime greens, etc.Im not a big fan of flame paint jobs to boot.
I actually won 2nd place in Easyriders subscription give away last year…..and turned it down.It was a flame paint job, valued at $10,000 by “King of the Flames”,Dave Perewitz.I didnt think my 02 Heritage Springer,or 07 Ultra Classic were worthy of a $10,000 paint job,Im not into flames, and Im not paying taxes on a paint job I wont like.Yes,they sent the tax forms along too!
A few months later,a friend from Maryland called to tell me about a Raider he saw on e-Bay.He knew I was looking for a Raider, and was really excited about what he saw. After looking at the pics on the auction, and talking to the seller,I made my bid.Didnt hit the sellers reserve, but I was high bidder.Less than a minute after the auction ended, the phone rang.It was the seller in Colorado.A deal was struck, and the seller said he would check with Thunder Mountain H-D to see if they had a shipper to recommend.
After waiting what seemed like an eternity for the bike to get here, when the driver dropped the tailgate and opened the trailer door….my jaw hit the ground! Wow! This thing is awesome! The shadows beneath the pinstripes really add a depth Ive never seen in a flame paint job.I couldnt be happier with this bike, and after working out some bugs from mostly not being ridden enough, its proven to be a reliable custom.
Thank you Stephen for all your help, and putting this site up for Vengeance owners! Theres a wealth of information here that everyone can benifit from, and I think it shows a deep level of integrity that you take your time to help Vengeance owners ! Thank You !!

Thats shredder pinstripe. It cost twice as much as having a regular pinstripe done. We affectionally called the flke in the flames “ghetto flake”, it was bigger than a normal flake and popular in East LA in the 70s. Then you add the appletini green paint and this bike really pops! No low-profile ride here.

Update: I blew out the tank vent tube, but in California its connected to a black cylinder (cat. converter). I disconected , blew it out, ran the motor, and still have the same problem. I am also getting fluid blown on my air cleaner, and some standing fluid at the opening of the orifice directly above the air intake. As you can tell, I dont know much about mechanics. Any thoughts?
