I’ll need to verify the VIN and then I can order one for you. Email me copies of the Registration and a photo of the VIN stamping. The Fee for a new sticker is $50.

    Hi Steve,

Can you post my bike on one or more of your web-sites? I see it posted for $15K but my email address is noted wrong. It should read delomprey@hotmail.com. Also, can you update my bike with photo?

    Pls advise…

    Ed

I have an 03 Warrior doing similar…it was a combination of several problems. First the carb was jetted wrong. The other and you may want to check this first was it would build pressure in the gas tank and it lunge going thru the gears and at crusing speed. The gas cap on mine was not vented. I drilled a small hole the gas cap. I went all over the bike and could not find a vent tube or overfloow tube as some call it that vent to the underside of the bike. These are know to get pinched or stopped up. You may want to check this first. My bike while running the fule filter(clear) would go completly empty when the bike was lunging. The other problem was the timing was set incorrect. I know this is not a definite answer but these are the most common things that can cause the problem you described ans are the easiest to check and cheaper to correct.
    Good Luck

I doubt S&S would cover a blown head gasket. Typically that is a function of over-reving the engine when it is cold. i.e. fire it up and take off full blast.

Im not saying you over-revd it. The “typical” issues arent always the case. In any event S&S would say it a user issue not a manufacturing issue. Im glad you like your bike. Welcome to the forum.

we never joined a chamber of commerce.

I have our business licenses and our manufacturers license. The key piece of data is out NHTSA listing. Its the US agency that issues manufacturers VIN numbers. Also how about a copy of the original title? Ask your powers-that-be if any of those will work and let me know. –S.

82-95. The EVO reference is the HD Evolution motor. The S&S 113ci is basically a “knock off” of the HD 45deg EVO motor. It is essentially a 88ci motor that has been bored (larger diameter cylinders) and stroked (longer piston rods) to 113ci. The 82-95 is based on the HD Softail design of the era. Its a solid mount motor on a frame featuring an a-frame swingarm on a pivot.

This design concept was embraced by the “production custom” market taken to the extreme. This resulted in those single-sided swing-arm, drop seat, 360 series tire bikes. All from the humble Softail Deuce, go figure.

Hum… I dont think we ever installed supertraps from the factory but… I do know we had a few boxes at one time so maybe.

In any event, pull the spacer replace the bolt with a shorter one and youll be fine.
