AdministratorInterstate makes a good replacement battery. A year or two is about all youll get. The motors are so big they really work the batteries.
This is one area several guys have been working on. Heres Matt Hoches $1000 battery…

AdministratorYea my spring ended up being about three foot long Called Allure and the said it was a bad design and sent the replacement parts free of charge .

AdministratorRemove the set screw at the front bottom of the headlight; there is a wire spring that is in a grove at the front bottom. Grab ahold of the spring and twist the front ring as you pull the spring out. Replace with 6260HD H4 12V 60/55W Heavy Duty Halogen estimated cost $12 at Wal Mart.
Be careful, I didnt have any luck in getting that spring out because it was jammed up, so… I replaced the entire headlight.

AdministratorNope, not in Texas, Virginia. When I first bought the bike new, I had the opposite problem-operator error no doubt. The cap would suddenly loosen up; bang me in the chest, and give me a face full of gas. Ill try the dental pick-and let you know. If it doesnt work, Ill probably go for the new cap.

AdministratorThere are also discussions going on with Keith Urban to include his Drifter in the exhibit. We are not sure if he will give it up as it is his favorite bike to ride and he takes it on tour with him!
Saw him riding it one day in Franklin, TN near Nashville…Very nice!
