Yes its common RWD suggests you have another strap welded to connect the ends of the struts. Look under the fender you’ll see the straps they create a bridge between the struts. Loose the turn signals or mount them on the swing arm.

Weve never found one that would bolt in.

The key is to find a top mount. Most pre-made wont have ANC fittings so they will need to be added to keep the SS oil lines. I “know a guy” who could fabricate one.

Most of the bike owners may not know Butch. He is one of the “original 5” founders of Vengeance. I consider it an honor to call him my friend. Welcome!

Heres a picture of Butch concentrating on Michelles Vendetta.

If I were Butch I wouldnt be concentrating on the bike!!!!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

To be honest,I just got this one .I had an 03 Raider and the only real problem I had was a failed ignition.Im not a big fan of Crane ignition boxes,so I replaced it with a DYNA 2000.Also on the 03,the fork stops had wore to the point of needing replaced,a common problem with internal stops.

I SEE THERE IS A FEMALE THREAD FOR A SCREW, AND A MALE THREADED STUD, BUT THE SUCTION CUP DOESN’T THREAD ONTO THE SCREW AND IF IT DID THE SCREW WOULD POKE THROUGH AND KILL THE PAINT. AND IT DOESN’T THREAD INTO THE FEMALE THREADS EITHER! I’M KINDA LOST. ASKED THE LOCAL HARLEY DEALER AND THEY ARE USELESS. GUESS I’M SCREWED

You may want to have a talk with the people in Texas to get the paperwork straightened out.

Followers of Vengeance Motorcycles know we have all been through the ringer these last couple of years. In the fall of 05 I was forced to file a fraud suit against John McDonnell the founder of Vengeance and my friend of 10+ years who sold me Vengeance. Two years and $800K in legal fees later the jury awarded me $1.4M and found McDonnell guilty of fraud.

Unfortunately in post-trial motions the judge reduced the verdict to $300K or gave me the choice to start over from the beginning. The $300K was just enough to pay my lawyer what I owed him. Go figure.

The legal fees in the case exceeded the $2.1M I paid for Vengeance. Youll be happy to know McDonnell still has millions of dollars, Im broke, Vengeance has ceased production (for now) and the lawyers all got new cars for Christmas.

Moving on, we have 1000 Vengeance bike owners all over the world and its my goal to assist them in communicating with one another and to keep the spirit of Vengeance alive.

Glad to see you are alive and well. One day when our paths cross, I will have to buy you a beer.  I miss most of the people fom Vegeance. The short time I was there I was able to learn alot from some of the old timers.

I had no problems with the seat leaving marks on the fender.Does yours have the suction cup? However,if you use the 2-up a lot,the paint will not fade under the rear part of the seat, and that will be noticable if you use the solo seat later.

I have the single and double seats from vengeance for my 03 raider, I have the same issue on long rides, especially if you hit a few pot holes. the double is better, but be advised that it will leave permanant marks in your paint.

I had the 2-up seat from Vengeance on my 03 Raider and it was WAY more comfortable.Long rides were no problem with it.

If you decide to go with an open belt drive I would suggest the Rivera Primo Brute V. They make a direct bolt on application for your bike with an 1.4375 offset.

The painter that did most of Vengeance paint work is Zeak McPeak. Hes back in So Cal after a short stint in Nor Cal and I spoke to him recently. To get a quote shoot some digital pictures and email him at papazeak@yahoo.com.

It sounds like the bottom position of the ON valve may already be below the fuel level. Pull the petcock and look at the opening and the position of the inlet at ON and turn the knob to RES. Hold it next to the tank at the installed angle and you will see how much is revealed when you turn it to RES. Moving the petcock is a drastic solution, but you can have the petcock moved forward. (Make sure itll clear everything.)
