Not sure the size… check with Accutronix. (I had the same problem with mine, used blue locktite on them to fix it.)

Hey Ted! How about asking the question like this…

I have a 2005 Banshee with a closed primary and I need to replace the clutch. Does anyone know the specs? Also my transmission fluid is leaking into the clutch because I overfilled the tranny. Is there a seal I need to replace?

Then someone like me will say:
you need to get a Primo Brute III for 89-92 Softtail drive train. There is a transmission seal on the inner primary.

I pretty sure my answer is correct. But I’ll defer to others if you have better info. ๐Ÿ™‚

Its an interesting project. You could build almost anything with the parts the original frame was made by Daytec (closed in 2014). Jesse is making his own frames again (they were also made by Daytec). We’ve had a couple people reframe wrecked bikes. I occasionally get a picture “is this a vengeance?” with a crazy frame. Go longer, go lower, go faster.

I’d start by making sure you dont have a loose connection to the back of the speedo. Take the back plate off the speedo. Push the pin connector back in place and if needed, use a piece of foam rubber to put pressure on the connector when you re-install the back plate.

We had a Kendon single and it was really squirrely (lots of weight behind the axle). My guess would be 12′ with the axle at 8′

Yes there are breakers in the key switch box and there is a turn signal module mounted on the splash guard. Hopefully Jim can chime in as he may have a suggestion.

Sounds good. Can you e-mail me or post a pic of the cap or post a link to the ebay listing? My guess is you have a tank with a standard HD bung… but if the other ones are available that’s great news.

Hawkeye… the Raider/Warriors had very special gas caps. There were 3 different thread patterns this happened inadvertently based on from whom the tank vendor (Metal Monsters Long Beach, CA… a West Coast Choppers ex pat…) was buying the bungs. Because of this… in 06 we went to a standard HD bung like we used on the Vendetta/Vindicator/Widow. I have two caps left of the most popular style. All the ‘other’ caps are gone. The caps are not cheap… $249.

Mark: If you want one email me scs [at] venmc.com. If for some reason you have an ‘other’ style and it doesn’t fit, send it back and I’ll refund your money. Then you’ll need to have a new bung welded in and a repaint of the tank.
