The Vengeance Maxis combines the best of the Warrior, Raider, Bone Crusher & Banshee into one bike. The geometry of this soft-style chopper 6” up 2” out, 40◦ of rake with a 12” over front-end. The drive-train features an S&S 113ci and Primo-Rivera RSD 6-Speed transmission. The rear 280 Series tire and front 120/70-21 tires make this bike look massive from every angle. Everything on the Maxis is big, but this bike rides tighter and stronger than many smaller bikes.
The Vengeance staff set up the rig on Lazelle Street which is quickly becoming know as manufacturers row. This year Big Dog, Iron Horse, Vengeance, Arlen Ness and others were all set up on Lazelle making this a one-stop opportunity to see the best in the business in one location.
Vengeance was excited to unveil their new 2006 Maxis to rave reviews from those attending the rally. On Wednesday American Thunder came by the Vengeance booth to check out the Maxis XS with the 300 Series tire, TP124ci engine and 14″ over front-end. The bike was the hit of the show and set the standard for the new 2006 Vengeance lineup.
The new bikes brought out several stars including country recording artist James Otto who was headlining at the Broken Spoke and Keith Anderson who was opening for Tim McGraw at the Buffalo Chip. Keep an eye on American Thunder for the ride we went on with Keith and his friends.
In all, it was a great rally week under beautiful skies and warm weather. If you’ve never visited Sturgis during rally week it is a must do for riding, fun and entertainment!
