Vengeance got a surprise visit at the plant in Riverside from three of the boys from country band Emerson Drive. The guys were in Southern California to participate in the KFROG Cares Golf Classic but Mike, Patrick and David were not in the mood to hit the links. So while Brad and Danick were golfing and Dale was mending his ribs (that’s another story), the guys decided to pay a visit to Vengeance and see if any of the bikes needed “test miles” before shipping. As it turned out there was a new CalChop and a Drifter that needed miles and the Vengeance #1 bike was just coming off the lift after receiving some updated wheels, brakes and sheet metal.
After the “5-minute factory tour” the boys hit the road with Stephen Sharpe and Production Manager Jim Overman. The ride took the troupe south to through the hills of Riverside County and ended up at favorite biker stop Tom’s Farms. After a healthy lunch of salads for the rock stars and hamburgers for the bikers, the group continued on to the final destination of Eagle Glen Golf Course in Corona, CA.

As the group arrived they were treated to stares and gestures from golfers on the first tee who were obviously thrilled to see the cool custom bikes rolling in. After completing the obligatory photo session with the photographers and posing for a few fan photos the group mounted back up to take in a few more miles before the scheduled evening show case. After quietly leaving Eagle Glen, the group rolled down the backstreets of Corona past the Fender Museum and over to the new Indian of Corona showroom.
On this stop the guys checked out the vintage Indian Police bikes that were used on the TV series the “West Wing” and the impressive line-up of Vengeance bikes including the old-school Teacher bobber. The group then rolled back to Eagle Glen and retired to the 19th hole to tell stories to one another about missed shifts, gear selection and why Emerson Drive needs a fully loaded 6 bike trailer to pull behind their tour bus.
The evening concluded with a KFROG showcase featuring Rushlow Harris, Emerson Drive and Jason Aldeen. The show was intimate and allowed every one in attendance the opportunity to meet and greet and get pictures and autographs from the performers. Notable golfers in attendance were Sean Parr from KZLA and the TV series Heist and Del Brekenfeld of Fender Guitars. In all it was a great day of riding, golf and music for a great cause.
